Secure Health Information’s staff has been working to meet the needs of both hospital medical records staff and medical records requesters for more than 20 years. In 1984, a small company named Legal Search & Copy began as a records search service for attorneys. It later changed its name to Premier Document Management when it became the largest release of information service for health care providers in Washington state. After merging and operating as another company from 1996 to 1999, a new company was formed to address the need of health care clients to receive both excellent release of information services AND a robust tracking and reporting software that would also enable clients to build an electronic patient record. Secure Health Information was born to meet that need.

The resulting software product, PRISM (Patient Record Integrated Storage and Management) has proven immensely popular with our clients, and has contributed to our growth into one of the leading release of information services providers in the U.S. Since its inception, Secure Health has continued to refine PRISM to utilize the latest technology and to make it the flexible and customizable product that it is today. Secure Health has also benefited greatly from its solid core management team, most of whom have worked together without interruption since the mid-1980’s. Our focus continues to be on providing the very best release of information services available, while keeping our clients on the cutting edge of technology.
